Durham designed the camera bag to be modular, which allows for easy transformation between different types of bags. You can go from backpack, to mid-sized sling bag, all the way to small-sized shoulder bag with little to no effort.
He got the idea for Tekniq while packing up his gear for a weekend trip a while back. He put his stuff in a large bag, but he knew he’d need a smaller bag for day outings, so he packed a shoulder and mid-sized bag as well. Simply put it was a huge hassle packing three separate bags. So, he went out and built a better solution in the Tekniq Camera Bag. The last few months have been spent in prototyping and development out of the Salt Lake City headquarters. Throughout it all Durham has maintained the goal to help photographers spend less time fussing with gear and more time capturing great photos.
