The Sessions
There are two types of sessions available at our annual conference this year. Mentor Circles Presented by Revelry are 30 minute group sessions designed for attendees who want the opportunity to gain insight into specific challenges they are having within their business and receive valuable targeted advice for those issues. Mentor Sessions Presented by Revelry are 30 minutes private sessions designed for attendees who wish to take a deep dive into challenges facing their startup or business and gain valuable insight and advice to help build their business.
The Mentors
There are going to be dozens of impressive mentors available for advice at Innovate Celebrate 2017. Take a look at the founders, investors, and partners below and check out the first list here: David has invested in over 50 consumer product startups, with a long focus on investing in mobile companies. Chat with David about product development, business models, strategy, negotiation, financing, deal structure, marketing, and business development. Meet with Cheryl to learn from her passion in delivering your company’s story and message. She has driven programs that set benchmarks in the consumer, automotive, B2B, media and event sectors. Brandon can share with you his extensive experience assisting disruptive and social impact organizations with digital strategy, online advocacy, and navigating the federal system. Meet with Erica to help demystify venture capital and get guidance on the process of creating a disruptive product including the in-depth planning, market research, and flexibility required by startup founders. Greg has nearly 20 years of experience running and investing in early stage technology companies. Meet with Greg to tap into his extensive experience with consumer and enterprise technology. Meet with Eric to get inspired on ways to build entrepreneurial ecosystem components as well as building startups. Eric has particular experience with the use and influence of innovation in business, business development, and strategic business relationships. Jessica has extensive experience launching, scaling, and exiting startups and creating business development plans. Additional specialties include ideation, strategic partner development, (social) product strategy, gamification, competitive analysis, and financial analysis. Kate is a self-defined VC of the people. She Loves to execute great ideas as the Senior Director of Hardware Outreach for Indiegogo, and is the founder of The Can Van. Bambi is responsible for one of the largest communities dedicated to high-tech entrepreneurs and investors. She is an entrepreneurial advocate who is is an expert in media, journalism and social networking. Meet with Robert to get advice from a technologist who loves to help innovators and entrepreneurs bring their dreams to life. He is an expert in consultancy, consumer electronics and market strategy. Meet with Ximena to get the perspective of a woman in technology who is an expert in mobile technology, venture capital, team recruitment and company culture. Eric is interested in companies at the intersection of health and information technology, finance and technology, and consumer services. He also leads TransLink’s activities supporting portfolio companies with their customers and partners, primarily in Greater China. Meet with Cyrus to gain insight into what it takes to build great products from the ground up. He focuses on finding solutions that level the playing field and provide equal access to knowledge, capital, and work. Mara Lewis is a serial entrepreneur and champion for diversity in tech. She helps organizations connect on innovation strategy and startup engagement. She is an expert in venture capital, being a successful woman in technology, and accelerators, and traction. Meet with Jason and get inspiration for how technology can empower community action. He is an expert in UX Design, funding civic tech, and creative problem solving. Meet with Josh to gather his expert advice specific to B2B and SaaS ecosystems. Josh has years of experience developing and scaling revenue generating programs for growing SaaS businesses. Basit is a serial founder, insanely brilliant technologist, and a wonderful mentor to startup founders of all experience levels. Meet with Mike to learn from his nearly two decades experience in product design and UX. He has lead design and branding initiatives for major companies and has been integral to the acquisitions of half a dozen companies. Susan works with early stage entrepreneurs to drive next level results and has passion for creating better products through inclusion and using tech for good. She is a social entrepreneur who is an expert in startup coaching, strategy and funding. Frank has strong experience across multiple businesses verticals covering domestic and international markets; with proven results in corporate governance, supply chain realignment, change management and enhanced profitability.
