That’s right, the City University of New York and Revature have joined forces to create Revature at CUNY, a strategic partnership to provide free industry-aligned coding bootcamps for CUNY graduates. The 12-week program will allow graduates of the university to learn the latest enterprise-level, next-generation and niche technology skills at no cost to them beyond their regular tuition. If you don’t already know, diversity in tech has been a huge fault with the industry. Despite the growing need for unique perspectives in a growing market, startups and big companies have been unable to fill the gap in their respective teams. This partnership will aim to make inclusion a necessity, providing educational programs and employment opportunities to graduates of one of the most diverse universities in the US. Revature is now accepting applications from CUNY graduates for both on-campus bootcamps.  The application deadline for the first Queens College bootcamp is October 15 and you can sign up for them here.
