DADA is an online, collaborative drawing platform for visual artist professionals. On DADA, artists can produce digital drawings and collaborate with artists peers from across the globe to create entirely new and unique visual narratives. Founded by Beatriz Helena Ramos, an artist herself and the owner and founder of animation studio Dancing Diablo, DADA is meant to give visual artists an interactive medium through which they can interact not only with other artists but also with potential clients. Aside from mere collaborative drawing, the platform encourages dialogue between people right on the platform. The company also said that, in the near future, DADA will give artists the functionality to share a visual resume of their past works. At the DUMBO Arts Festival this weekend, the company is holding a global virtual drawing party. Artists from all over the world will use DADA’s platform to produce digital drawings, while members of the Montreal-based artist collective En Masse will be at the festival itself, interacting with the other artists through DADA.
